Awake is a community-centred welfare organisation delivering emergency support, capacity building, and data-driven program design. We partner with residents, local clinics, and municipal agencies to turn short-term relief into long-term resilience.
To provide dignified, timely assistance and empower communities with the resources and skills needed to thrive. We prioritise co-designed solutions, accountable partnerships, and continuous learning.
A resilient, equitable network of neighbourhoods where people access support quickly, bounce back from crises, and build sustainable livelihoods.

Design and deliver services that respect people’s agency and privacy.
Use data and community feedback to iterate and improve programs.
Work with local leaders, clinics, and civic partners to amplify impact.
Manage resources transparently and responsibly.
Founded by community leaders and social workers, Awake began with food distributions and volunteer outreach. Over time we added short-term shelter support, health screening partnerships, vocational training, and a small digital platform to coordinate volunteers and casework.
